I'm Jorge Sánchez Ortiz de Galisteo, a Spanish-Canadian Graphic Designer passionate about editorial and communication design.
I hold a Master's Degree in Graphic Design from Elisava/Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona, Spain) and a Licentiate's Degree in Journalism from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. In addition, I have completed a Certificate in Infographics and Data Visualization from the prestigious US-based Parsons School of Design and a Certificate in Digital Media Skills from OCAD University (Toronto, Canada). I have ten years of experience working as a designer for media companies, agencies and communication teams in Luxembourg, Canada, Ireland and Australia.
My experience comprises working on a wide range of print and digital projects, from magazines to websites, using Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
Some of the publications I have worked on include the Irish magazines Irish Tatler Man, Ireland's Food & Wine, Irish Tatler and Xposé, and the Canadian titles Chill and Golf Canada.
Besides design and magazines, I love following current affairs, and I'm interested in photography and architecture. I enjoy learning new skills, watching documentaries and Nordic noir series, cooking and practicing photography.
